About us

Personal programmes and assessment

After you receive the go-ahead from you Cardiologist/Specialist/Doctor, we will design a programme for you and supervise you all the way during this programme.  Our cardiac programme runs over a 12-24 week period, depending on the severity of your condition.

After you received the go ahead from your Cardiologist/Specialist/Doctor, we will design a programme for you and supervise you all the way during this programme. Cardiac programmes usually stretches over a 12-week period.

At your first visit we will take an in-depth history of your condition, medication, training routines and goals. This is followed by a very easy physical assessment including blood pressure, heart rate, a posture assessment, flexibility tests and some basic functional tests.

Possible tests include a 12-lead advanced ECG test (this is where we connect some wires to your chest and you do a submaximal test – this gives us an indication of your heart activities), spirometer and oxygen tests, cholesterol and blood glucose test and body fat percentage distribution throughout your body. The data from our very comprehensive questionnaires and tests then helps us to determine your starting point and end goals.
